The Black Bear is an omnivore and found all across North America. Black Bears are much smaller than Grizzly Bears and are more friendly than the other types of bears. Black Bears range in weight from 90 to 370 pounds. Black Bears have an amazingly soft fur and would make a great rug in my house.
I don't think that there should be a black bear hunting season. That would make this animal extinct and if no one bugs them what are they hurting?

DeleteThey are far from extinct in the United States and the state of Alaska gives their residents an option of shooting two bears a year. My cousin in Wisconsin said he has horrible problems with Black Bears and there are entirely too many of them.
